Introduction
For automatic doors, the frequency of use in modern buildings is increasing, shops, office buildings, shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, can be seen everywhere. The door machine is the controller for the automatic door, and the sensor is the recognition and signal transmission equipment.
The M-254E is an infrared motion and presence sensor providing activation and safety for automatic sliding doors. The detection pattern is achieved by 4 rows of 49 individual detection zones providing a dense rectangular pattern.
The sensor emits infrared ray through the transmitting tube, and the receiving tube receives back infrared ray. When it is powered on, it will automatically adapt to the current background state. When there is an object in the detection range, the receiving infrared ray decreases and the background changes, which will send a signal to the door machine to open the door. This sensor with 3 rows motion infrared rays, and 1 rows presence safety infrared ray.
