Through-Beam Photoelectric Sensor
In some hospital clean room or other automatic doors operated occasions, we can find a type of through-beam photoelectric sensor, it is constitute with a transmitter and a receiver strips, and they are housed in separate cases, installed in the two side of automatic door frame, so it also named opposed mode photoelectric sensor.
The operating priciple: After installed, the light of the transmitter is emitted opposite to the receiver's light and directly converges to form a beam light that covers the entire automatic door moving area, and a number of beam light form a row of light curtains. When persons or objects breaks the light beam between the transmitter and receiver, it outputs the door oepning signal to protect the pedestrian security of the automatic door detecting area.
One of the most effective sensing modes, the through-beam sensor has a broad detecting range and great detection sensitivity. This through-beam sensors enable protect dangerous areas for automatic doors reliably in various environments.
